SHAH ALAM, June 8 — The Selangor International Islamic University College (Kuis) and Pt Tiga Serangkai from Indonesia have signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) yesterday.

Kuis deputy rector (Research, Community and Industry Relations) Prof Madya Dr Mokmin Basri said the collaboration would strengthen bilateral relations between the two institutions and expand their respective areas of expertise.

He said the MoU allows both parties to organise student and officer exchange programmes, industrial training, research and seminars.

“This collaboration also provides an opportunity for students and lecturers to revive mobility activities, industrial training and physical seminars that were actively conducted before the Covid-19 pandemic.

“We hope that with the signing of this memorandum, all the activities can be carried out more frequently as well as the sharing of knowledge and expertise can be worked on more widely,” he said in a statement.

According to him, the collaboration is also in line with Kuis’ vision of producing intellectuals and providing university education to the community in a wider and quality manner.

The MoU which was held virtually was signed by Dr Mokmin and witnessed by the Kuis deputy rector (Student Affairs and Alumni) Dr Abdul Razif Zaini.

Meanwhile, Pt Tiga Serangkai was represented by its chief executive officer Eny Rahma Zaenah and witnessed by its Center of Excellence head Erfan Zaenuddin.
