Selangor Saring in Sungai Burong, Permatang and Sijangkang constituencies tomorrow

SHAH ALAM, June 11 — The public and residents in three state constituencies have been invited for the free health screening via the Selangor Saring programme tomorrow.

The residents of the Sijangkang state constituency may attend the programme at Dewan Wawasan Kampung Medan, while those from the Permatang and Sungai Burong state constituencies can do so at Dewan Orang Ramai Kampung Seri Tiram Jaya.

Asides from health screenings, the Permatang state constituency will also free organise optical examinations from 9am to 3pm.

Several of the conditions for individuals to obtain free spectacles include mandatory participation in the Selangor Saring 2022 programme, and must be voters in the Permatang state constituency.

The state government has allocated RM3.4 million for Selangor Saring, which is expected to benefit up to 39,000 Selangor residents, particularly those with a family history of ailments, obese individuals, and those leading unhealthy lifestyles.

Running from May 22 to September 4, the programme offers physical screenings, blood and urine tests, optical, cervical and breast cancer tests, as well as colorectal and prostate cancer tests.
