Selangor Sultan, Tengku Permaisuri extend birthday wishes to Agong

SHAH ALAM, June 6 — Their Royal Highnesses the Sultan of Selangor and Tengku Permaisuri of Selangor extend their best wishes to Yang di-Pertuan Agong Al-Sultan Abdullah Ri’ayatuddin Al-Mustafa Billah Shah in conjunction with His Majesty’s official birthday today.

In a statement via the Selangor Royal Office on Facebook, Sultan Sharafuddin Idris Shah Alhaj and Tengku Permaisuri Norashikin also pray for the wellbeing of the King.

“May Allah grant His Majesty good health and prolong Tuanku’s life with many blessings. Daulat Tuanku,” read the statement. 

Meanwhile, Selangor Menteri Besar Dato’ Seri Amiruddin Shari also conveyed his wishes to the Yang di-Pertuan Agong and prayed for His Majesty’s long and blessed life.

“I pray to Allah that His Majesty Al-Sultan Abdullah and Her Majesty Raja Permaisuri Agong Tunku Hajah Azizah Aminah Maimunah Iskandariah continue to be blessed with great dignity, sovereignty and prosperity while sitting on the throne.

“The state government and people of Selangor Darul Ehsan offer our congratulations and well wishes to His Majesty,” he said on Facebook.
