PUTRAJAYA, June 9 — Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM) leapt 20 places to be listed as the 123rd best university in the world in the QS World University Rankings 2023, said UPM vice-chancellor Professor Datuk Mohd Roslan Sulaiman.

He said with the position, it is also the second-best university in the country after Universiti Malaya.

The ranking is based on four indicators namely academic reputation, employers’ reputation, academic staff to student ratio as well as the percentage of international students.
