200 rural entrepreneurs stand a chance to get advice from e-commerce experts

SHAH ALAM, July 28 — A total of 200 entrepreneurs would receive free advice from e-commerce experts at the Selangor Digital Entrepreneur Roadshow in Kuala Selangor on August 6.

The roadshow, organised by the Selangor Information Technology and Digital Economy Corporation (Sidec), is set to be conducted for the fourth time with the goal of exposing rural traders to online business.

The Hijrah Selangor Foundation (Hijrah) on Facebook said entrepreneurs in Kuala Selangor that are interested in digitalisation should take advantage of the programme.

“We are looking for 200 entrepreneurs who wish to expand their business online to join the roadshow,” the agency said.

The event will feature the e-commerce industry’s experts from Lazada, Shopee, Touch’nGo, e-Wallet, Express Malaysia, PGMall, EasyStore, Shopline and PayHalal.

It is scheduled to be held at Dewan Dato’ Hormat in Tanjung Karang from 9am until 5.30pm.
