SHAH ALAM, July 4 — Consumers have been advised to immediately lodge reports with the Ministry of Domestic Trade and Consumer Affairs (KPDNHEP) Selangor if they detect an excessive increase in the price of goods.

State executive councillor for consumers’ general affairs and halal industry Mohd Zawawi Ahmad Mughni said complaints can be channelled through various platforms including email, messages, WhatsApp and social media.

At the same time, Mohd Zawawi also advised traders not to engage in excessive profiteering that can burden the people amid the current challenging economic situation.

The public can also visit the complaints portal at e-aduan.kpdnhep.gov.my, contact the control center 1-800-886-800, send an email at [email protected] or to Ez ADU KPDNHEP.
