Illegal garden centre building issued third notice, requires demolition — MPKL

By Sheeda Fathil

SHAH ALAM, July 20 — A garden nursery proprietor has been issued a third notice by the Kuala Langat Municipal Council (MPKL) for building a structure without authorisation.

The local authority said the individual in question was previously issued two offence notices under Section 70 (13) (c) of the Roads, Drains and Buildings Act 1974 on March 29 and April 8 this year.

“As the owner remains recalcitrant and failed to comply with the council’s instructions, a third notice was issued and required him to demolish the building,” MPKL said in a statement.

It reminds any individuals or organisations to obtain written permission beforehand, before constructing or making building amendments.
