MB distributes nine sacrificial cows, 20 goats in Sungai Tua for Aidiladha

GOMBAK, July 11 — Menteri Besar Dato’ Seri Amirudin Shari distributed nine sacrificial cows and goats to the needy at the Sungai Tua state constituency earlier today.

He said the distribution is an annual event in the constituency since before the Covid-19 pandemic began.

“It is submitted according to the residents’ committee (JKP), village, locality and apartment. Alhamdulilah, the programme is indicative of the close relationship between the service centre and the surrounding community,” Amirudin said.

He was speaking at the Sungai Tua state constituency Qurban Perdana programme, which took place at Padang Changi in Kampung Sungai Tua.

The Menteri Besar who is Sungai Tua’s state assemblyman also participated in the Qurban Perdana for the Gombak Setia state constituency, which was held at Kampung Sungai Pusu.

Amirudin also participated in the Qurban Perdana for the JKP of the Ampang Jaya Municipal Council Zone 1, which was held at Taman Melawati.

He participated in the sacrificial activities by slaughtering a cow and goat.

This is the second day of Amirudin’s itinerary for the sacrificial programmes in the Gombak parliamentary area, having joined in such activities in seven locations yesterday, consisting of the state Sungai Tua, Gombak Setia and Hulu Kelang state constituencies.
