MBPJ: Contra-flow lane at Jalan Gasing, Jalan Templer heading towards NPE from July 25

SHAH ALAM, July 15 — The Petaling Jaya City Council (MBPJ) had informed of a periodic contra-flow lane from Jalan Gasing and Jalan Templer heading towards the New Pantai Expressway (NPE) southbound beginning July 25.

The local council said that the lane involving the two roads will run from 5pm until 7pm daily, except on Saturday, Sunday, public holidays and rainy days.

“The contra-flow lane will begin at the Jalan Gasing intersection, which is at Jalan 5/64 heading towards the three-way Jalan Templer-NPE intersection, and from the four-way Jalan Templer/Jalan Gasing intersection heading towards NPE.

“All road users from the opposite direction are advised to use the middle or left lane, while the right lane will be closed from the NPE intersection to the Templer/Jalan Gasing junction and Jalan Gasing – Jalan 5/64 (northbound),” the local council said in a statement today.

MBPJ said road users from the Petaling Jaya city centre, Section 52 or the Federal Highway could use the contra-flow lane to ease the traffic.

The local council also advised the public to stay alert and adhere to the signages provided at the location.
