SHAH ALAM, July 30 — Members of the public stand a chance at winning raffle prizes in the form of motorcycles, bicycles and smartphones, during the Jelajah Selangor Penyayang (JSP)roadshow programme in Gombak tomorrow.

Fortunate ones will also receive a 42-inch television, an electric scooter and a laptop at the carnival, which will take place at Padang Awam Batu Caves from 9am to 4pm.

The programme is organised by the state government, which is a rearrangement of Inisiatif Peduli Rakyat (IPR) and officiated by Besar Dato’ Seri Amirudin Shari.

Earlier on, JSP took place at Taman Kosas Ampang Jaya, Dataran Pantai Morib in Kuala Langat, Utama Stadium in Kuala Selangor, and Dataran Boulevard Laman Majlis Bandaraya Petaling Jaya.

The program will also feature artist performances, arm wrestling competitions, futsal, folk sports, the Mobile Legends online game, exhibitions, and food sales.

JSP is made possible through a RM350 million allocation so that more Selangor residents can benefit from the initiatives provided by the State Government.

The Selangor Saring free health screening programme will also take place during the roadshow. With a RM1.5 million expenditure, Selangor Saring helps the public to detect chronic diseases and is expected to benefit 5,000 people, especially those at risk.
