GOMBAK, July 10 — The First Selangor Plan (RS-1) which will be tabled during the State Legislative Assembly this month has taken into account ideas submitted by the people, said Menteri Besar Dato’ Seri Amirudin Shari.

He the process of gathering public views was implemented and scrutinised in the early stages, before the RS-1 was finalised.

“Certainly the state government obtained the views of the people and now the symposium has already taken place.

“This was not done in a day, but was presented and reported, as well as feedback obtained from departments, agencies and the public. All these processes were done beforehand,” Amirudin said.

The Menteri Besar was speaking to reporters after the sacrificial rites for Hari Raya Aidilfitri at Masjid Al-Taqwa earlier today.

RS-1 will cover various aspects ranging from the people’s welfare to improving the quality of public services.

It consists of four cores, namely the economy, social, sustainability and governance to achieve the Smart State Agenda by 2025.

On Thursday at the Shah Alam City Council (MBSA) Convention Center, Amirudin launched the First Selangor Plan 2021 – 2025 Pre-Launch Symposium.
