PKNS aims to become world-class organisation by 2030

By Zareef Muzammil

SHAH ALAM, July 29 — The Selangor State Development Corporation (PKNS) is drafting a long-term plan ‘Vision 2030’ to turn the state government-linked company (GLC) into a world-class organisation.

Its chief executive officer Dato’ Mahmud Abbas said it was time PKNS came up with its own vision which is in line with the First Selangor Plan (RS-1).

“Alhamdulillah (praise be to God) PKNS has many smart employees to assist in the drafting of the vision which outlines the company’s position, revenue and profit by 2030.

“It will also list projects that need to be done for the people and steps to be taken by PKNS to help ensure RS-1 success,” he said at the PKNS Excellent Service Award for 2021 at the Shah Alam Convention Centre here, last night.

Thus he urged all its employees to share their views in the drafting of PKNS’ Vision 2030.

“On Monday next week, we will celebrate the 58th anniversary of PKNS ‘establishment. We have gone through a lot of obstacles and there will be many more challenges to come.

“Therefore, I hope all PKNS staff can provide their view to help guide us towards the Vision 2030,” he said.
