Air Selangor: Water supply recovery in Hulu Selangor at 14.4 pct

SHAH ALAM, Aug 10 — The water supply recovery in areas in Hulu Selangor affected by a scheduled water disruption has reached 14.4 per cent as of 12 noon today.

Pengurusan Air Selangor Sdn Bhd (Air Selangor) in a statement said that the duration of the water supply recovery in the affected areas will vary depending on the location and distance of consumers’ premises.

“The Water supply in all 188 areas in the Hulu Selangor region is expected to fully recover at 8am on Thursday (tomorrow).

“Air Selangor would like to advise consumers who have and will receive their water supply to let the tap flow until it is clear before using.

“Air Selangor hopes that consumers who have received water supply will use water prudently to ensure that the recovery process in the affected areas runs smoothly,” the statement read.

Water supply in 188 areas of the Hulu Selangor district will be temporarily disrupted next week because of scheduled upgrading and maintenance works at the Sungai Rasa water treatment plant.

The work had begun on Tuesday at 9am and had completed at 5.30am today.

Consumers can obtain information on scheduled water supply disruptions from time to time through Air Selangor’s official communication channels including the Air Selangor app, Facebook, Instagram and Twitter, or contact Air Selangor at 15300.

Questions and complaints can be submitted to the Help Center on the website www.airselangor.com and the Air Selangor app.
