Jelajah Selangor Penyayang resumes at end of Sep; focus on RS-1, 2023 Selangor Budget agenda

SHAH ALAM, Aug 29 — The second phase of the Jelajah Selangor Penyayang (JSP) roadshow will resume at the end of September until mid-October.

Menteri Besar Dato’ Seri Amirudin Shari said the roadshow to promote the state government’s initiatives include the districts of Klang, Sabak Bernam, Sepang and Hulu Selangor, focusing on the First Selangor Plan (RS-1) and providing the gist of the 2023 Selangor Budget.

“At the end of September, we will resume the roadshow in four districts until the middle of October. It will include elements from RS-1 and the upcoming Selangor Budget.

“The 2023 state budget is expected to be presented in October or November,” he said after officiating the closing ceremony of the Bulan Falak Selangor 2022 programme organised by the Selangor Mufti’s Department, at De Palma Hotel on Aug 29.

JSP commenced on June 19 at Taman Kosas Ampang Jaya, Ampang, followed by Dataran Pantai Morib, Kuala Langat, and Stadium Utama Kuala, Kuala Selangor Selangor.

The roadshow’s first phase was also held at MBPJ Dataran Boulevard, Petaling Jaya, and Padang Awam Batu Caves, Gombak.

A rebranding of the Inisiatif Peduli Rakyat, JSP was made possible with a RM600 million allocation, so that the Selangor people could benefit from the state government’s initiatives.

The roadshow will also see the Selangor Saring free health screening programme to help detection of chronic diseases expected to benefit up to 5,000 people.
