Jualan Prihatin Rakyat continues in two locations today, tomorrow

SHAH ALAM, Aug 27 — The Jualan Prihatin Rakyat programme which offers daily necessities at a cheaper price continues in two locations today and tomorrow.

The Selangor Agricultural Development Corporation (PKPS) said the programme today is held at Kampung Kubu Gajah, Paya Jaras, from 9am until 12pm noon.

Meanwhile, on Sunday, the programme will be held from 9am until 12pm at Dataran Pantai Batu Laut, Tanjung Sepat,

A variety of items will be sold at the Jualan Prihatin Rakyat programme, including whole chicken at RM15, cooking oil at RM2.50 per kg, grade B chicken eggs at RM12.50 per tray, beef at RM36 per pack, vegetables and fruits at farm prices, and fish at RM10 per pack.

Meanwhile, during the Jualan Mega Merdeka, the prices of goods will be cheaper, with whole chicken at RM13, cooking oil at 50 sen per kg, grade B chicken eggs at RM10 per tray, beef at RM35 per kg, vegetables and fruits at farm prices, and fish at RM10 per pack.

The programme, which started in December last year, will tour 160 locations throughout Selangor, to help alleviate the people’s burden due to rising prices of goods.

On July 25, state executive councillor for agricultural modernisation and agro-based industry Izham Hashim said over 80,000 people in the state have benefitted from the programme.
