SHAH ALAM, Aug 10 — Water supply will be distributed in stages from 8am today to consumers in Hulu Selangor affected by a recent scheduled water cut.
In a statement today, Pengurusan Air Selangor Sdn Bhd (Air Selangor) said that the asset upgrading and maintenance works at Sungai Rasa water treatment plant had completed at 5.30am this morning and that water supply will be distributed once the distribution system has been stabilised.
“Full recovery of water supply is expected at 8am tomorrow (August 11). Air Selangor will continue to mobilise alternative water supply via water tankers to affected areas with priority given to critical premises such as hospitals, clinics, dialysis centres and funerals.
“We would like to apologise to the consumers for causing inconvenience and Air Selangor is working towards ensuring that the water supply recovery process in all 188 affected areas runs smoothly,” Air Selangor said on Facebook.
