MB seeks ideas from public for 2023 Selangor Budget

By Siti Rohaizah Zainal

SHAH ALAM, Aug 19 — Menteri Besar Dato’ Seri Amirudin Shari has invited the people in Selangor to share their ideas and opinions for the upcoming 2023 Selangor Budget.

In a post on Facebook, Amirudin said the public can do so at the Menteri Besar’s official website https://www.amirudinshari.com/selangor2023.

“The Selangor government has always taken into account the ideas and opinions of the people in drafting the budget and direction for the development of the state.

“The town hall session is a customary practice that has always been done as a venue for the people to speak,” he said yesterday.

The online survey that started on July 25 was aimed at making the budget more inclusive and beneficial to all parties.

It has three parts that include the people’s expectations for the state budget.

The input from the survey will help in the drafting of the state budget and will add value to development that can bring benefits to the people of this state.

As with previous instances, the preparation of the 2023 Selangor Budget will take into account opinions from the stakeholders and the public.
