SHAH ALAM, Aug 16 — The Petaling Jaya City Council (MBPJ) will be organising a bulk-waste disposal programme in conjunction with Merdeka Day from August 20 until September 11.

The local council said the Spring Cleaning programme, managed by the MBPJ Bulk Waste Management and Public Cleaning Department, will be held at several locations that are under its jurisdiction.

MBPJ said the members of the public can throw out their furniture, electronics and other items that are still in good condition.

“The public is advised to place the goods they want to recycle in front of their houses before 11am. The waste won’t be collected if they are late,” it said on Facebook.
