MBSJ’s car-free day returns this Sunday

SHAH ALAM, Aug 4 — The Subang Jaya City Council’s (MBSJ) Car Free Day event will be held this year at Jalan Persiaran Kemajuan on Sunday (August 7).

In a Facebook post, the council said various fun activities will be held throughout the event from 7am to 11am.

They include leisure cycling, running and walking, as well as free health checks, food competitions, breakfast parties and street performances.

“Car Free Day #selamatpagisubangjaya returns to greet residents of #SJcitycouncil this Sunday.

“It will take place at Jalan Persiaran Kemajuan (along the Subang Parade and Aeon Big shopping centres) from 7am to 11am,” said the local council.

MBSJ also encouraged Subang Jaya residents to attend en masse to enliven the Car Free Day event.
