SHAH ALAM, Aug 19 — Selangor Hijrah Foundation (Hijrah) is targeting 500 entrepreneurs to apply for its i-Bisnes financing scheme during the Keluarga Malaysia Aspirations Tour (AKM).
Its promotion manager Mohd Ridhwan Asmara said the goal was based on the programme’s three-day runtime until Sunday.
“So far, 50 entrepreneurs have registered to apply for funding to grow their business operations under the i-Bisnes financing scheme.
“We anticipate that we would be able to attract 500 entrepreneurs to sign up during the event which runs from 9am to 9pm,” he said when met at the Selangor chapter of the tour near the Shah Alam Stadium, here today.
As of April, Selangor Hijrah had disbursed RM965,000 through the i-Bisnes scheme for the benefit of 2,229 entrepreneurs who received loans from RM1,000 to RM50,000 to expand their businesses.
