SHAH ALAM, Aug 9 — The asset upgrading and maintenance works at the Sungai Rasa water treatment plant are being actively implemented and have reached 29.8 per cent, as of 11am today.
Pengurusan Air Selangor Sdn Bhd (Air Selangor) said the works are still underway and according to schedule.
“The upgrading works for the water supply system are expected to be completed at 9pm on August 9. Water supply will start to be distributed to consumers in stages once the water supply system has been stabilised.
“Air Selangor will continue to mobilise the alternative water supply via water tankers to affected areas, with priority given to critical premises inclding hospitals, dialysis centres and funerals,” it said in a statement.
Consumers can obtain information on the scheduled water supply disruption from time to time via Air Selangor’s official communication channels, namely the Air Selangor app, Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter, or contact the Air Selangor Contact Centre at 15300.
