SHAH ALAM, Aug 9 — The asset upgrading and maintenance works at the Sungai Rasa water treatment plant has now reached 78.2 per cent completion, as of 3pm today.
Pengurusan Air Selangor Sdn Bhd (Air Selangor) said the works are still being carried out according to schedule.
“The upgrading works for the water supply system are expected to be completed at 9pm tonight. The water supply will begin distribution to consumers in stages once the system has been stabilised.
“Air Selangor will continue to mobilise the alternative water supply via water tankers to affected areas, with priority given to critical premises including hospitals, dialysis centres and funeral parlour,” it said in a statement.
Consumers can obtain information on the scheduled water supply disruption from time to time via Air Selangor’s official communication channels, namely the Air Selangor app, Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter, or contact the Air Selangor Contact Centre at 15300.
