State govt provides eight educational support initiatives from preschool to tertiary level

SHAH ALAM, Aug 4 — Eight educational support programmes have been offered from preschool to university level under the Iltizam Selangor Penyayang (ISP) initiative, says Menteri Besar Dato’ Seri Amirudin Shari.

He said the programmes include the People’s Tutoring Programme (Pusat Tuisyen Rakyat), Iltizam Mahasiswa Selangor, Peduli Siswa, Selangor School Aid, and Smart Selangor Technical and Professional Skills Initiative (Inisiatif Kemahiran Teknikal and Ikhtisas Smart Selangor or Iktisass).

Other initiatives included are Anakku Pintar Childcare Assistance Scheme (Skim Bantuan Asuhan Anakku Pintar or Asuh Pintar), Selangor Kindergarten Assistance Scheme (Skim Bantuan Tadika Selangor or Tunas) and Selangor Basic Technology Loan Scheme (Skim Pinjaman Teknologi Asas Selangor or Sepintas).

“The people in Selangor have been introduced to various financial aid programmes provided by the state government, which range from preschool to university level.

“All of this support was given so that Selangor children may continue receiving quality education.,” he said on Facebook.

The programmes under ISP were introduced during the Selangor Penyayang roadshow on July 31 at Padang Awam Batu Caves, Gombak, which had focused on the educational cluster.
