Team Selangor, MPKL, Tanjung Sepat rep participate in beach cleanup

SHAH ALAM, Aug 9 — Team Selangor volunteers joined hands with Kuala Langat Municipal Council (MPKL) in a beach cleanup programme at Pantai Batu Laut in Tanjung Sepat, Kuala Langat on Saturday (August 6) last week.

The Perdana Gotong-Royong programme also received cooperation from the Tanjung Sepat state constituency Community Service Centre.

“Tanjung Sepat state representative Borhan Aman Shah along with 80 volunteers took part in the beach cleanup of Pantai Batu Laut which is visited by many people.

“The cleanliness of the beach must be maintained so that the surrounding ecosystem is not damaged and destroyed,” said Team Selangor on Facebook.

Volunteers for the programme that began at 8.30am also took part in the aerobics exercise and listened to a briefing from the organisers.
