Worldwide Holdings contributes RM200,000 to Selangor Raja Muda Foundation

SELAYANG, Aug 25 — Worldwide Holdings Berhad has donated RM200,000 to the Selangor Raja Muda Foundation (YRMS) as part of its corporate social responsibility (CSR) programme.

The donation was presented by Worldwide Holdings Corporate Communication Division head Raja Farah Diba Raja Abdul Rashid to YRMS chairman Raja Tan Sri Dato’ Seri Arshad Raja Tun Uda and witnessed by the Raja Muda of Selangor, Tengku Amir Shah.

Raja Farah Diba said the contribution will enable YRMS to implement activities to empower the underprivileged community, especially youth through the sponsorship of programmes and training.

“Among the initiatives implemented is on improving the technical skills of underprivileged students through skill-based training at vocational institutions and the donation of educational tools.

“This donation will benefit 221 individuals and eight welfare institutions. We are committed to continuing in empowering the community through education, development and community wellbeing initiatives,” she said after attending the 2022 YRMS Open Day at Kolej Komuniti Selayang which was officiated by Tengku Amir Shah here yesterday.
