SHAH ALAM, Sept 5 — The Selangor Aviation Show (SAS) 2022 will be taking place at the Skypark Regional Aviation Centre (RAC), Subang, this week, which is open to the general public, trade visitors and students.

The second installation of the air show, hosted by the Selangor government and organised by Invest Selangor Bhd (Invest Selangor), will bring together 56 exhibitors representing the best aerospace and aviation sectors across the world.

The event, which runs from Sept 8 to 10, will showcase various exhibitions on both the tarmac and exhibition booth site at the venue.

“SAS 2022 is open to trade visitors throughout the three-day event, while the general public and students are encouraged to visit on the third day,” said Invest Selangor in a statement today.

The state agency stated that the event will be held at the SkyPark RAC located next to the Royal Malaysian Airforce (RMAF) Air Base and not at the Skypark Subang airport terminal.

“Visitors may drop off or park at the Subang Airport Terminal or take the KTM Skypark Link from KL Sentral or Subang Jaya KTM Terminal and head to the SAS 2022 registration counter, located at the Subang Airport Terminal, to collect their visiting passes.

“There will be complimentary return shuttle buses provided from Subang Airport Terminal and to SkyPark RAC,” it said.

Invest Selangor also said that stringent health and safety precautions will be imposed, including the use of face masks, social distancing and general hygiene guidelines.

Visitors are advised to plan their visit by registering and selecting their preferred

Themed “The One & Only Business Aviation Show in the Region”, SAS 2022 is a forward-thinking initiative by the state for networking, dialogue and knowledge sharing among the relevant stakeholders to revitalise the industry.

Some of the programmes scheduled for SAS 2022 are industry forums, talks, networking activities and a special educational session for aviation tertiary students on the third day of the show.
