SHAH ALAM, Sept 6 — Four lucky visitors to the first series of the Jelajah Selangor Penyayang roadshow received the grand prize from the Menteri Besar Selangor (Incorporated) (MBI) today.
All of them received the Honda Wave 125i motorcycle through the lucky draw event during the roadshow in Kuala Langat, Kuala Selangor, Petaling and Gombak, which ran from June until July.
MBI chief executive officer Norita Mohd Sidek said the selection of lucky numbers was made digitally, based on the visitor’s registration details.
“We have allocated nearly RM31,000 for the grand prizes with each motorcycle worth RM7,600, along with other prizes that were provided during the roadshow.
“So today, we have invited all the grand prize winners to come and collect their motorcycles,” she said when met after handing over the prizes at Bangunan Darul Ehsan, here today.
Norita added the lucky draw event has been met with overwhelming support, with over 20,000 participants throughout four series of the roadshow.
She did not rule out offering more rewarding prizes in the upcoming roadshow soon.
“Other than becoming a platform for the state government to disseminate information on its initiatives, the roadshow also provides an opportunity for the people to join exciting activities such as the lucky draw.
“Of course, the lucky draw is one of the most anticipated aspects of the roadshow, so we would increase the price value. Just wait and see,” Norita said.
A total of RM600 million has been allocated for the Jelajah Selangor Penyayang roadshows which have benefited many Selangor citizens.
