Free health checks in four state constituencies this weekend

SHAH ALAM, Sept 2 — The Selangor Saring free health screening programme will continue in four state constituencies involving three locations this weekend (September 3 and 4).

Tomorrow, the programme will be held at Dewan Serbaguna Kampung Chuang Rasa for residents in the state constituencies of Kuala Kubu Bharu and Batang Kali.

On Sunday, it will be held at Dewan Seri Cempaka, Saujana Impian, Hulu Langat (Kajang state constituency) and Dewan Sri Kundang, Kampung Kundang (Tanjong Sepat state constituency).

The Selangor Saring programme is expected to run from 9am until 4pm and those interested to take part may register via the SELangkah mobile app.

The state government has channelled RM3.4 million to ensure the success of Selangor Saring, which would benefit 39,000 people, particularly those with a family history of illnesses, obese individuals, or those leading unhealthy lifestyles.

Physical screening, blood and urine tests, eye, cervical and breast cancer, occult or colorectal faecal blood testing, and prostate tests are all available during the programme, which runs until September 4.
