Fun activities at Selangor Fruit Valley during school holidays

SHAH ALAM, Sept 7 — The Selangor Fruit Valley (SFV) has become one of the preferred destinations for parents to take their children during the school holidays.

Menteri Besar Dato’ Seri Amirudin Shari said the farm located in Batang Berjuntai offers a tranquil setting and organic goods that families can enjoy.

He said other than picking fruits, visitors could also visit the deer and rabbit farm or take a canoe and boat ride at the Keranji Jetty.

“The area is vast and offers a wonderful sight. A tram service is also available where you can take a ride and enjoy the fresh air.

“If in need of a rest, don’t forget to try out the fresh coconut drink. Do tag me once you have arrived at SFV. Happy holidays!” said Amiruddin on Facebook today.

Spanned across 646 hectares of land, SFV was established to fulfil the state government’s goal of modernising and boosting the state’s agricultural sector.

It is home to some 20 fruits, including star fruits, durian, mango, guava, jackfruit, pulasan and grapes.
