GM Klang to open 115 new stores, offer more product choices

KUALA LUMPUR, Sept 26 – GM Klang Wholesale City (GM Klang) will open 115 new stores in an effort to strengthen its mission to become a comprehensive wholesale centre by offering more product choices to customers.

GM Klang Brand Communications Manager Norsuhaida Othman said 25 stores will be opened this month while another 90 from October to December this year.

“The new stores in GM Klang cover products such as children’s toys, fashion accessories and also food outlets including from the largest chain of convenience stores which is 7 Eleven,” she said in a statement today.

She said wholesalers’ trust in the GM Klang brand had inspired GM Klang to continue developing the wholesale centre to a higher level in terms of providing the best business facilities as well as creating more business networking opportunities internationally.

At the same time, she said the wholesale centre also receives visitors from various countries, especially from Singapore, Indonesia, Brunei, Europe and so on.

She added that the arrival of foreign visitors was the result of GM Klang’s collaboration with Selangor Tourism and Port Klang Cruise Terminal (PKCT) by providing free transportation for cruise ship passengers from PKCT to GM Klang.

“This effort has received an encouraging response and at the same time exposed GM Klang to many foreign tourists,” she said.
