SHAH ALAM, Sept 3 — Some 30 Kuala Selangor residents participated in the facial treatment programme organised by Team Selangor on August 21.
Its chief secretariat Syahaizel Keman said the programme, held in collaboration with the Pusat Kecantikan Cantik Hania, is open to women aged 18 to 35.
He added the short-term programme was conducted to provide exposure to participants on facial beauty treatment techniques, seeing how the beauty industry is increasing in popularity.
“The women of today have begun to regularly visit beauty spas to maintain their appearances and health, an indication the industry is becoming more popular.
“The programme’s participants were diligent and eager to learn from its guides,” Syahaizel said when contacted.
He said the programme, previously conducted in collaboration with the Selangor Technical Skills Development Centre (STDC) in Paya Jaras, will continue in other locations.
“This is the second time the programme has been organized together with STDC for women in Paya Jaras.
“Due to the community’s positive reception, Team Selangor aims to to continue the programme in the Ijok and Tanjong Karang areas,” Syahaizel said.
