GOMBAK, Sept 19 — The Selangor Agricultural Development Corporation (PKPS) will increase the number of goods sold at the Jelajah Ehsan Rakyat roadshow starting next week.
Its chief executive officer Dr Mohamad Khairil Mohamad Razi said that some of the six items offered during the programme could be increased in quantity at several locations.
“Among the items that require more in number include chickens, eggs and cooking oil. Therefore, based on our findings, we will increase the quantity of the items starting next week.
“This is part of our efforts to ensure that more people would be able to benefit from the programme,” he told SelangorKini when met at the programme held in the Sungai Tua constituency at Padang Awam Batu Caves, here yesterday.
Meanwhile, Mohamad Khairil said that the state agency would ensure that the supply of the goods sold throughout the roadshow would not be interrupted.
“We have been tasked with making sure that customers can buy from us with confidence, both in terms of price and availability.
“We’ve been working with the suppliers until December, so the people can come to the roadshow without worrying that it would run out of supplies.”
From September 6 to December 6, whole chicken is sold at RM10 per piece, fresh meat at RM10 per pack, grade B eggs at RM10 per pack and a pack of mackerel fish at RM6.
