Sale of affordable basic goods continues at Dewan Serbaguna MBPJ tomorrow — PKPS

SHAH ALAM, Sept 3 — The affordable sale of basic necessities organised by the Selangor Agricultural Development Corporation (PKPS) will continue at Dewan Serbaguna MBPJ in Section 7, Petaling Jaya, tomorrow.

In a Facebook post, PKPS said the products on offer include chicken, fish, imported beef, grade B chicken eggs, and fresh vegetables direct from the farm.

It said that one kg packet of cooking oil will be sold at RM2.50 throughout the programme, which runs from 9am to 12pm.

PKPS will also be selling chicken at RM16, fish at RM10 per packet, imported beef at RM36 per pack, as well as grade B chicken eggs at RM12.50 per tray.

Since December last year, PKPS has been conducting its programme of affordable sale of basic goods, as part of its efforts to reduce the public’s burden in light of spiralling living costs.

On July 25, the state executive councillor for the modernization of agriculture and agro-based industry Izham Hashim stated that over 80,000 people have since benefitted from the programme.
