SUBANG, Sept 9 — The Selangor Aviation Show (SAS) 2022 has met with an overwhelming response from trade and public visitors, says Invest Selangor Berhad chief executive officer Datuk Hasan Azhari Idris.

He said that as of yesterday the total registration for both the trade visitors and members of the public has reached 18,000, far surpassing the initial target of 8,000 people.

“We have closed the online registration system for public visitors since the total registration hit 12,000 people. We have to take safety procedures into account and limit public access to the venue.

“Similarly for those who intend to walk in tomorrow, its registration has also been closed. However, registration is still open for trade visitors.

“As we are anticipating a huge crowd on the last day, we have added 10 more buses and three coaster buses to carry visitors from the Subang Skypark Terminal, to boost the existing six buses that we provided today and yesterday,” Hasan said when met at the SkyPark Regional Aviation Centre (SkyPark RAC) earlier today.

Commenting on the feedback from visitors, Hasan Azhari said the responses have been positive thus far.

“Most of the participating companies are satisfied with SAS 2022, as it is being held on a bigger scale compared to last year. We will also provide bigger exhibition spaces and have more aircrafts displayed at the venue,” he said.

The three-day event will features industry-specific talks and forums to share the latest information, knowledge and news among attendees and visitors.

Participants will also get the chance to obtain the latest updates and lookout for new business opportunities, as well as build long-term relationships with other industry players.
