Selangor shooters win two gold medals at Sukma 2022, break national record

SHAH ALAM, Sept 19 — The Selangor shooters have delivered two gold medals for the state at the 20th Malaysia Games (Sukma) today while breaking the national record.

The Selangor shooting team won the eighth gold medal for the state in the men’s team 10-metre (m) air rifle event at the National Shooting Range, Subang, setting a new record.

Haritz Iklil Hessly Hafiz delivered the ninth gold medal for Selangor in the 10-m Air Rifle in the men’s event held at the same venue.

With 490 participants and 75 coaches taking part in 30 sporting events, Selangor has set a goal to win 40 gold, 40 silver, and 45 bronze medals at Sukma 2022.
