“Other states and areas which will be similarly affected include Perlis, Perak, Kuala Lumpur, Putrajaya, and Segamat in Johor.

“Meanwhile, Kedah (Langkawi, Sik, Baling, Kulim and Bandar Baharu) Terengganu (Hulu Terengganu, Marang, Dungun and Kemaman) Pahang (Raub, Bentong, Temerloh, Kuantan, Bera and Rompin) and Negeri Sembilan (Jelebu, Kuala Pilah, Jempol and Tampin) should also experience inclement weather,” it said.

In East Malaysia, Sarawak’s affected areas include Kuching, Serian, Samarahan (Simunjan), Sibu (Selangau), Mukah (Dalat and Mukah), Kapit (Kapit), Bintulu, Miri (Subis and Miri) and Limbang, while in Sabah it is Pedalaman (Beaufort and Tambunan), Pantai Barat, Sandakan (Telupid, Kinabatangan, Beluran and Sandakan) and Kudat (Kota Marudu).
