Sukma 2022: Selangor clinch first gold medal in wushu

SHAH ALAM, Sept 15 — The Selangor contingent at the 20th Malaysia Games (Sukma) won its first gold medal in the women’s wushu competition today.

The Selangor National Sports Council (MSNS) said the victory was achieved by Mandy Cebelle Chen in the wushu taijiquan event.

“Mandy has kept her winning streak going and contributed the first gold medal for Selangor at the women’s wushu taijiquan event at the National Sports Council (MSN) earlier,” it said on Twitter.

Yesterday, Mandy also took home the silver medal in the women’s taijijian event with a total points of 9.6200, behind Sydney Chin Sy Xuan from Melaka.
