44 state initiatives featured at Selangor Penyayang roadshow — MB

SABAK BERNAM, Oct 15 — The Jelajah Selangor Penyayang roadshow is one of the state government’s platforms for informing the public on the 44 incentives under Iltizam Selangor Penyayang (ISP).

Menteri Besar Dato’ Seri Amirudin Shari said the second phase of the roadshow kicked off in Sabak Bernam, here yesterday, and in addition to promoting local products, the two-day event also provides its visitors the opportunity to learn more about the incentives.

“The roadshow will be ongoing until November and will be held in the districts of Klang, Sepang and Hulu Selangor. We hope that we would be able to channel the necessary information to the people.

“During the roadshow, we will be highlighting the six sectors under the ISP, which includes empowerment, healthcare, education, housing, entrepreneurship and the children of Selangor.

“This is not something we do out of fun. We did not rebrand this effort from the previous Inisiatif Peduli Rakyat for nothing, but to ensure that it helps to uplift the well-being of the people,” he said in a speech during the launch of the roadshow at Sungai Besar Stadium, here today.

Meanwhile, Amirudin had also handed over a key replica of the Smart Selangor business premise in Bagan Terap to Sabak Bernam District Council president Azman Dahlan.

The Smart Selangor premise was upgraded from the previous Rural Development premise (Kedai Pembangunan Luar Bandar) with a total cost of RM3.8 million. 

The upgrading works started on December 11, 2017, and was completed on August 24.

The premise has 20 shops and 10 food courts and other public amenities.
