Brace for high tide from today till Wednesday, Klang folk told

SHAH ALAM, Oct 9 — Due to the high tide phenomenon expected from today (October 9) until Wednesday, residents living in Klang are advised to be alert of their surrounding areas.

Menteri Besar Dato’ Seri Amirudin Shari had alerted the residents to take note of the helplines to prepare for flood as the high tide is expected to reach 5.5 metres (m) at the highest.

“The Klang people are advised to keep the important numbers (refer to the table below) in the event of emergencies during the northeast monsoon, which is expected to occur until October 12.

“The state government is prepared for any possibility,” he said on Facebook yesterday.
