Bukit Aman announces transfers of 20 senior police officers

KUALA LUMPUR, Oct 27 — Bukit Aman Special Branch (E9) Research and Secretariat principal assistant director Datuk Ahmad Ramdzan Daud has been appointed as the new deputy director of Special Branch in the transfer exercise of 20 senior police officers nationwide, effective tomorrow (October 28).

Royal Malaysia Police (PDRM) secretary Datuk Noorsiah Saaduddin said Bukit Aman Special Branch E7 principal assistant director SAC Aida Abdul Hamid will replace Ahmad Ramdzan’s position.

“Meanwhile, the Commander of the Air Wing of the Internal Security and Public Order Department, Datuk Mohd Hishamudin Tahar will be appointed to head the Bukit Aman Inspector-General of Police Secretariat (Research and Development). Deputy Commander (Operations) Datuk Noor Sham Md Jani will replace Mohd Hishamudin.

“The other change involves Bukit Aman principal assistant director (Police Supply Centre) Facility/Supply/Logistical and Technology Division ACP Puspanathan Wiresingam replacing Penang Crime Prevention and Community Safety Department head SAC Mohd Nasri Omar.

“Mohd Nasri has been appointed as Deputy Director (Enforcement/Traffic Control/Summons Management) Traffic Investigation and Enforcement Department, with the rank of DCP,” she said in a statement today.

Noorsiah said Bukit Aman Special Branch E2B Staff Officer ACP Johari Mohamed will take over the position previously held by Aida, and E2B1 Special Branch Supt Md Khairuddin Hussin will take over Johari’s position.

“Selangor Special branch head SAC Izan Bakri has been appointed as Bukit Aman Special Branch E3 principal assistant director and Sabah Special Branch E1 Staff Officer Supt Nik Hadzrami Mat Hassan has been appointed as E3B Staff officer of the same department.

“In Melaka, Special Branch, Intelligence and Operations deputy head Supt Mohamed Mahat has been appointed as the branch’s head, with the rank of ACP,” she said.

According to Noorsiah, Sabah Traffic Enforcement and Investigation Department head Supt Mohd Zamzuri Mohd Isa has been appointed as Perak’s Integrity and Standards Compliance Department head, while Mersing district police chief Supt Cyril Edward Nuing@Hillary has been appointed as Sabah Criminal Investigation Department, Investigation/Legal deputy head.
