High tide expected to hit Klang tomorrow until Friday

SHAH ALAM, Oct 24 — As the high tide phenomenon is expected from tomorrow (October 25) until Friday (October 28), residents living in Klang are advised to be alert of their surrounding area.

The Klang District Disaster Management Committee on a Facebook post had alerted residents to take note of the helplines to prepare for flood as high tide is predicted to reach 5.5 metres (m) at the highest.

“Always be aware and alert of your surroundings and take note of the important numbers listed (in the table) below.

“If a disaster strikes, please call the relevant hotlines for help,” said the committee.
