SHAH ALAM, Nov 17 — Pakatan Harapan’s (Harapan) candidate for the Petaling Jaya parliamentary seat in the ongoing 15th general election has launched the website PJLestari.com, as his aspiration is to serve the people.

Lee Chean Chung said as someone who has worked and lived in Klang Valley for 12 years, he understands the hopes, issues and challenges faced by its residents.

“My aspiration is to work with you and to carry on with change, starting from the community, then to the parliamentary and national levels.

“Let us make sure Petaling Jaya continues to be a sustainable and prosperous development centre. PJ BOLEH! (PJ CAN!),” he said in a Facebook post.

The PJLestari.com website that was launched on November 15, 2022, contains four core values in ensuring the prosperity of Petaling Jaya residents.

“The first is national reform, which includes enacting national economic, industrial and technological policies, as well as fighting for small and medium enterprises (SMEs),” Lee said.

The second is transportation and sustainable facilities, which includes increasing public transportation such as using vans, footpaths and bicycle lanes.

In addition, the third thrust is to dignify youths through PJ UP!, to empower SMEs like hawkers, small traders and online sellers via a series of brand marketing, product development and innovation training.

The fourth is to be a harmonious community by establishing a consultation council in the Petaling Jaya parliamentary seat with members of the management committee, residents’ associations, non-governmental organisations (NGOs) and activists.
