GE15: Use power to vote, reject traitors, robbers — Amirudin

By Amin Ridzuan Ishak

GOMBAK, Nov 13 — Pakatan Harapan’s candidate for the Gombak parliamentary seat in the ongoing 15th general election (GE15), Dato’ Seri Amirudin Shari, has called upon the people to utilise their right to vote during the polling day on November 19, and reject the 2P (traitors and robbers) group.

He said the groups, involving the Perikatan Nasional (PN) and Barisan Nasional leadership, have caused instability in Malaysia and which has had an impact on people’s lives.

Amirudin cited incumbent Gombak MP Datuk Seri Mohamed Azmin Ali as one of the leaders, following his shift in support from Harapan to PN in February 2020, which led to the collapse of the Harapan Federal administration that month.

“The people become confused, while others do not want to invest in the country. We voted once in the 2018 election but got three prime ministers instead.

“This came about due to their desire in preventing Harapan, which obtained the mandate at the time, to succeed in its aim of becoming a just government. We even provided allocations to Opposition-led states,” he said.

Speaking at a ceramah in Selayang Baru earlier tonight, Amirudin said the coalition is offering the best, which includes empowering education, resolving the rising costs of living, and looking after the welfare of the elderly.

Harapan has announced 39 themes for voters, should it obtain the mandate to govern the nation by winning GE15.

These include the introduction of a Permanent Term Act in both the Dewan Rakyat and the various State Legislative Assemblies, education scholarships for students from low-income families, and special allowances for individuals who lost their jobs.
