Local leaders urged to provide information on PH policies to the people — MB

By Zareef Muzammil

SHAH ALAM, Nov 3 — Menteri Besar Dato’ Seri Amirudin Shari has called upon local leaders to provide information to the electorate concerning Pakatan Harapan’s (PH) policies in the upcoming 15th general election (GE15).

He said their hard work will be able to attract voters’ attention, which can be an indicator of the coalition’s victory in 22 parliamentary seats throughout Selangor.

“Starting tomorrow, I hope the whole team will go down on the ground to help out and explain PH’s policies. If we move as a team, I believe Selangor will still remain a PH stronghold,” Amirudin said during a meeting with Selangor community leaders earlier today.

“Our strength in explaining policies can attract voters’ attention, and it is possible we will be able to achieve 22 parliamentary seats for PH,” he said.

Over 1,000 community leaders involving Village Community Management Councils, Indian community leaders, and Kampung Bagan leaders, attended the briefing at Dewan Raja Muda Musa.

Amirudin, who will stand for the Gombak parliamentary seat in GE15, said every PH policy should be understood before they are presented to voters, so as to avoid attacks from their opponents.

“The first thing is to understand and master these policies, as later these will be attacked, in addition to efforts to slander and confuse (the electorate).

“This is because we face those desperate to obtain power in the Federation,” he said.
