KLANG, Nov 30 — The Klang Municipal Council (MPK) is offering reduced parking compound for as low as RM15 to RM200, depending on the traffic offence.
Its president Noraini Roslan said the campaign is in conjunction with Christmas, that will last for a period of 20 days from December 12 onwards.
“This campaign is to offer people with outstanding compounds an opportunity to clear their arrears.
“However, compounds under Paragraph 51, Paragraph 36 (2) (e) and Paragraph 36 (1) (a) are not included in the campaign,” she said during an MPK meeting earlier today.
According to Noraini, payments for compounds can be made online or at several counters including the ones at MPK’s headquarters, its branch office, and the additional counter at the Giant Bukit Tinggi supermarket from 10.30am to 4pm.
A mobile service counter for the payment of assessment taxes will be open on the grounds of Masjid Jamek Ar-Rahimiah, Andalas from December 3 to December 4, and in front of Econsave Kapar (December 17 to December 18) from 9am to 1pm.
“I hope members of the public will take this opportunity with the facilities provided by MPK to pay their assessment taxes,” she said.
