Nurse killed in a car crash with lorry at Kuala Selangor

SHAH ALAM, Nov 4 — A private hospital nurse who was on her way to work was killed in an accident at KM47 Jalan Klang-Teluk Intan, near the old town of Kuala Selangor this morning.

Citing Harian Metro, Kuala Selangor District Police chief Superintendent Ramli Kasa said the 5.30 am accident involved a Perodua Myvi belonging to the victim and an Isuzu lorry.

He said an initial investigation found that the nurse was on her way to Shah Alam from her house in Sabak Bernam.

“When entering an intersection, the victim was believed to have lost control of her car before swerving into the opposite lane and colliding with the lorry.

“Following the crash, the victim sustained severe injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene,” he said.
