SHAH ALAM, Nov 21 —The second series of the Selangor Mega Job Fair is scheduled to take place at the Malaysia Agro Exposition Park Serdang (MAEPS) next month, said state executive councillor for young generations Mohd Khairuddin Othman.
As of now, a total of 250 companies and agencies have agreed to participate in the fair.
“We are targeting to attract 15,000 job seekers to the fair, with its final date and time to be finalised later. The state government expects to draw more employers to participate since this will also benefit them.
“Hopefully Selangor youths will take advantage of the fair to obtain employment in various positions and sectors,” he told SelangorKini today.
The inaugural 2022 Selangor Mega Job Fair was organised at the Shah Alam City Centre (MBSA) Convention Centre from June 11 to June 12, with over 100 companies and organisations including state government agencies participating.
The initiative helped approximately 1,996 job seekers find employment. Those interested to join can register at www.selangorjobportal.com.my, or to use it for further information.
