SHAH ALAM, Nov 29 — Members of the Selangor Royal Council took their oaths and received the appointment letters, effective from December 1 this year until November 30, 2025.
The Oath Taking Ceremony was held at Balai Dewan Diraja, Istana Alam Shah, Klang, and witnessed by His Royal Highness Sultan Selangor Sultan Sharafuddin Idris Shah Alhaj on November 27.
The Selangor Royal Office on Facebook stated that the Selangor Royal Council consist of Raja Muda, Tengku Laksamana, Tengku Bendahara, Menteri Besar, Islamic Religious Council chairman and mufti, as Ex-Officio members.
The council also include four other heirs, five Orang-Orang Besar, and seven Orang Tua-Tua who are not state assemblymen or Dewan Rakyat members.
Five newly-appointed members of the council include Dato’ Setia Mohd Zawawi Salleh, Tan Sri Dato’ Seri Muhammad Ibrahim, Engku Orang Kaya Maha Bijaya Hulu Selangor Raja Dato’ Muzaffar Raja Redzwa, Dato’ Orang Kaya Maha Bijaya Klang Dato’ Setia Mohamed Khusrin Munawi and Dato’ Mohd Khay Ibrahim.
