Subang Jaya constituency allocates nearly RM100,000 to repair school facilities

SHAH ALAM, Nov 27 — The Subang Jaya state constituency has allocated approximately RM94,225 from January this year to the present for aid to schools in its vicinity.

Its state assemblyman Michelle Ng Mei Sze said a total of 16 schools have received the funds, including national schools, secondary schools, Islamic religious schools, as well as Chinese and Tamil vernacular schools.

“Each individual school received a different amount of aid money, depending on their respective needs and what damages that need to be repaired. Aid is provided based on demand and suitability.

“Hopefully, this assistance can help the schools repair the damages they have sustained so that students and teachers can learn in a more comfortable and conducive atmosphere,” she said when contacted yesterday.

Ng said in addition to renovating the schools’ infrastructure, the funds were also utilised to purchase learning equipment like computers.
