SHAH ALAM, Dec 30 — The final sale of 2022 for the Jelajah Ehsan Rakyat (JER) affordable basic necessities roadshow for Tanjong Sepat state constituency will take place at Dataran Batu Laut in Kampung Batu Laut, Sepang tomorrow.

In a Facebook post, the Tanjong Sepat community service centre said the programme will run from 9.30am to 1.30pm.

The products on sale include chicken (RM10 per head), Grade B chicken eggs (RM10 per tray), beef (RM10 per pack), 5kg cooking oil (RM25), fish (RM6 per pack) and 5kg rice (RM10).

“Please provide small and sufficient amounts of money to facilitate and smoothen your purchases. First come, first serve,” it said.

Other initiatives which will also take place at the same time and location include registrations for the Insurans Am Selangor (Insan) scheme, and the Air Darul Ehsan Scheme for local residents who qualify.

Earlier on, Menteri Besar Dato’ Seri Amirudin Shari announced JER has received RM6.16 million in state government subsidies, with some two million people benefitting from the programme since its implementation in September.

He said JER, operated by the Selangor Agricultural Development Corporation (PKPS), also recorded RM19.65 million in sales value.
